Welcome to 204HausCrafters! We make colorful, limited-edition coaster sets meant to protects surfaces and add a little piece of art to your home.
Who are we?
204HausCrafters is lovechild of Kim Masson and Teo González, a best-selling author and a world renowned painter. Separately, we’ve sold countless books and have artwork in MoMA and 18 other museum collections. Together, we are a happily married couple who’s joined forces to bring our unique vision to the world of home décor.
Why coasters?
We've been making coasters to decorate our home for years. We referred to them as "little paintings with a purpose." At dinner parties and studio visits, inevitably our coasters ALWAYS became a topic of conversation. Everyone wanted a set. Afters years of requests, we caved in and opened up 204HausCrafters for all to enjoy!
What we do
Our coasters are handmade in limited batches inside our Brooklyn loft. Prepping wood, making paint colors from pure pigments (just like Da Vinci!), laying resin and hand-stamping are all parts of the job. The little details are at the heart of everything we do. Our coasters are museum-quality items everyone can acquire. We hope you get as much joy from our products as we have fun making them.
